Autism Ideas in Midlothian

The Chatterbox Project’s online event has been designed and developed by young people to raise awareness of International Day of Persons with Disabilities 2020.

Young people will be delivering the event through youth-led activities, training and share personal experiences.

Topics will include:

• Empowering Young Disabled People
• Effective Ways to Support Young Disabled People
• Engaging and Communicating with Young Disabled People
• Challenges and Barriers
• Invisible Disabilities
• Disability Acceptance

The event is aimed at professionals and is designed to support disability awareness development through training, personal experiences and Q&A opportunities with young people with first-hand experience of living with a disability.
